okay. It's a total hiatus. And this blog is like totally dead. My last post was like what 4 months ago? Haha. I once heard someone said that a blog not updated in a month is dead. So mine is like dead 4 times.

I had wanted to post my family photos on facebook, but I thought it's a little funny posting it there as I guess people are more interested in seeing your friends than your parents. And styleburst is on a halt! Lol, I've been chictopia-ing too much. I post my photos on chictopia before I post them on styleburst. I'll change that soon too!

The months back have been pretty hectic. I stayed in Australia until the end of Dec and I was back for a month. This one month has been basically spent with my family, eating, shopping and just being a family as I was away for 2 years. Food in Singapore, is good which goes without saying. School is pretty hectic and soon I'll be studying really hard too.

But anyway, it's Chinese new year! AND I HOPE IT'LL BE A HUAT HUAT YEAR for everyone!!

Spartos, CT1 exam, Nara Festival, Parliament house and Picnic

It's the yearly Spartos again. A semi formal event and people cheering for those who performed well in hall events. I was insideeeeeee!! haha! Cause lawrence and me helped win Ursies first trophy in pool!!
Wore this dress that I had for quite long but didn't wear. haha! Bought it that time when I was out with my papa.

I wanna have a SLR. It's like the pictures are so much nicer!

Next up was the nara festival. It's mainly to celebrate canberra and nara 15 years of sister relationship. It was also like a lantern lighting festival. I went as my friend and his sister had set up a store there.

Went with this other singaporen guy, Colin that drove us there.

It's such a boring event. Oh my goodnes.. And food was overpriced and NOT NICE AT ALL. So regretted going.

Went to parliament house today with lawrence for his interview!

While he was at the interview, I was looking at some souvenir shop. haha.

Isn't the sheep cute? It's so stupid cuz I won't use it and it's childish, but it's really quite cute and I want it. LOL.

After a 45 minutes wait, he came out. They asked him like so many questions. I wasn't even sure I could answer them when he told me the questions. I do not like interviews.

We went for a picnic after that. And mama! Look at me putting on weight! The parliament photo was taken today!!! And I look huge. =(

Oh oh.. And several outfit posts when I went out, for my exam and shopping! haha.
Gossip girl is so wonderful. Love it.

Going to DFO on Friday to do some shopping and maybe the floriade tomorrow. They say I should go to the Floriade soon before the flowers start wilting.

It's my 2 weeks break now! yay!

haha! I'm so just gonna post my pictures!
Here goes...

Went shopping with lawrence after a paper! And had great dinner outside. In fact, any dinner not in the hall is a great one.

So cute huh the guinea pig. Feel like squashing it. haha.

And we had a floor party! We went to watch the movie tropic thunder. It's pretty good. The entertainment value was high with ben stiller, jack black and tom cruise. I couldn't recognise tom cruise at all. Till the end.

Me and Lawrence went to dickson to get some Asian groceries. Along the way, we stopped by the lake to take some photos!

We came back from dickson with tons of stuff! FOOD! See how much I have been eating. Gosh. Unbelievable. Lawrence kept losing weight while I keep gaining. It's like I eat more than him can? Oh my freaking god.

Today is the Mid Autumn Festival. I HAVE NO MOONCAKE! =(
We didn't bring enough money to dickson, so we didn't buy any. And travelling there again just to buy a mooncake seems so silly. But I went out for dinner!
oh! And lawrence bought me a banana in pajamas! I had B2 and he is B1!

I love those 2 bananas! but they are a little dirty thou, because we got them from a thrift shop! haha!

Okieeeeeeeeeeeeee, I shall continue eating my chocolates, lollies and ice cream. =(

floor of champions dinner

Just had our floor dinner. Nothing much, nothing spectacular. It was just a cozy bonding session between the floor members admist the food and wine and glowsticks. It was a semi-formal event so you have to dress up for it.

I preferred last year dinner though! We had entrees and nicer desserts. This year, it was straight to the main course, no time wasted. And desserts tasted weird. But the pre-dinner snacks was nice. I guess cause it's fried and you seldom go wrong with fried stuff.

AND I AM SICK.
Sore throat, flu, cough. Can even feel a fever approaching cuz my body aches. =(

Starry starry ball '08

Ursies ball was held last Friday at DeVine, Kamberra Winery. I have absolutely no idea why Canberra is spelt as Kamberra. Maybe, they want to try act cute or input humour?
Anyhow, the venue this year was much better compared to last year, which was held in a race track. The food was also better than last year, albeit a little small in the quantity.
I wore the dress that I bought for the ball last year. I didn't wear that dress last year, so I thought I'll use it this year. =)

Upon reaching the DeVine, it was a photo taking frenzy. Everybody wanted to take pictures with everybody. And all are dressed to kill. The girls looking beautiful with their hair and makeup done to perfection and guys looking impressive in their suits. It was a night where everyone looked their best. =)
I too, can't miss out on the phototaking! Swipe out my camera and proceed to snap snap snap. But admist these photo taking, I didn't forget to treat myself to the delicious canapes. I think I must have been too busy eating them that i forgot to take pictures of them. haha.
As it was at a winery, the wines and champagne were pretty good.

I'm still waiting for all the professional shots to come. The ball was quite fun but I guess company last year was better cuz more people went last year.
And I came back so hungry, I had to cook indomee(which is awesome) to satisfy my growling stomach.

I'm having a floor dinner tomorrow! yay to good food! And cuz its a semi formal dinner, the chefs are forced to whip out some food for human tasting. I have been eating shit food the past few days. Sandwich for lunch and dinner cuz the kitchen ran out of food by the time I went. They should have like more food for us what. At the rent of 273.50 per week, and it is in AUD, I think residents here deserve much better. Both food and attitude from the kitchen hand(Linda and Barbara) at that.

first time skiing!

I skied for the first time on our national day!
HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!
I miss homeeeeeeeee!

The ski trip was a one day trip organized by the MSO committee.
The trip to and fro from the snowy mountains, the ski gears and the day pass cost AUD115, which is a fairly good deal.
But we had to rent our ski outwear ourselves before heading up the snowy mountain!

look at how huge the gloves are! haha!

lawrence ski wear! He's gonna wear alot more layers underneath.
The temperature up there is roughly about -4 degrees?

We had to wake up at 4am in the morning cuz the bus leaves at 5am.
The bus journey to the snowy mountain is about 3.5 hours and leaving at 5am allows us to have a longer time to ski.

We reached bullocks flat (bottom of the mountain where you rent all the gears) at about 9am.
The whole process of trying on and wearing that transformer shoes took us nearly 1.5hours?
The boots are so hard to put on and so difficult to walk, not forgetting that they are quite heavy too!
After we tried on the boots, we had to collect our skis and skis poles.
And the skis must have weighed like 10kg?
I had so much difficulty bringing them walking here and there on the transformer shoes.
I got so tired before I even started skiing. haha.

we are on the skitube (which is a train) that ferry us from bullocks flat all the way up to the snowy mountain.
The mountain that we went to is called Perisher blue.

And oh, I can't ski. =(
I fell down so many times.
The falling down part wasn't painful at all, but the getting up part is such a pain in the ass.
There were a couple of times I fell voluntary cuz I did not master the snake turning yet so I was gonna crash into the person in front of me and I didn't know how to turn.
So the only way was to fall to prevent the crash.
And there was a few times people crashed into me from behind when I was skiing, and so I fell.
Of course there were those times when the the speed was a lil too fast and I panicked and fell.
My muscles ached all over now from pulling myself up.
And I think I look like a swimmer now. Cuz i used so much of the hand muscle.
It really ain't an easy task getting up when you fell down.
Imagine the 10kg of skis + 4 kg of shoes on your legs, and the slippery-ness of the slope cuz of the melting snow, the long skis that's in your way hindering your every movement.
And when you finally get up on your skis, the skis tend to slid down themselves cuz it's too slippery and you fall again.
But all in all, it was still a fun fun experience.
I didn't regret going, in fact I enjoyed it alot.
Though of course it would have been more wonderful if I was like a expert skier.

Back in Aussieland again.
The start of the hectic studying that's going to be.
My room's pretty messed up by me in a span of 3 days.
How wonderful. I'll try to keep it so that it doesn't look so tornado hit.
I've been watching far too many shows.
21, orphanage, blood brothers, a chinese odyssey-both 1 and 2, terminal, some lost and some hong kong drama that I don't understand.
get your ass down to do work. to do work. start doing work. to do work. start doing work.
Think it should be the mantra i repeat to myself everyday.
Oh! I'm going skiing. That should be pretty exciting! =)
I haven tried skiing before! It's just a one day trip up the snowy mountains, so I hope I don't return with aches and bruises all over.

Cab down to the city to catch the next earliest bus. Another 2 hours wait.
Gosh.

couldn't resist the temptation and we went ahead with our small miny steamboat.

that's an enjoyment.

Not alot but enough to make us contented. =)

Went to settle the exam dates for the actuaries exam.
In my negligence, the amount of AUD 510 was written as AUD 500 and I had to spend 20 dollars to amend that stupid mistake.
Head down to Bugis to shop, well, I think browse seems to be the better word.
Dinner was spent munching down bibimbab, xiao long baos, sour spicy soup ramen and prawn wanton noodles.
Too much durians made my throat itch all the while.What's too much?
I ate like 4 durians in 2 days.
I'm trying to do an outfit post! haha! So bear with it.

It's been great. A fun holiday that is coming to an end soon, sadly.
I am left with like 1 week?
And there are still many things I need to do.
Like, buy a ball dress, buy shoes (oh oh! I bought the Marni inspired shoes that is quoting my dearie, ugly to perfection), see the doctor, visit my granny, meet friendssss and eat eat eat eat!
My dad brought my whole family to the Spring Court.

It's supposedly the oldest Chinese restaurant in Singapore.

The beaches in Singapore are so ugly as compared to the ones in Aussie.
The sands are coarse and the sea is so dirty in Sentosa and East Coast.

I HATE BAD THOUGHTS!!

The most stupid thing happened.
Lawrence and me planned to go Sydney on Saturday before our flight which is on Sunday morning to shop till we drop but I woke up to a knock on my door at 10.30am when our bus leaves at 7am for Sydney.
He looked at me and said, "Shit, it's 10.30 now leh. How how how?"
I was like WTFFFFF!!!??
I know I was supposed to blame because he had a paper the day before and he had just slept for 2 hours and yet I asked him to set the alarm and come wake me up at 6am.
But deep inside me I was still feeling a little angry.
Towards him and myself.
I shouldn't have been so lazy lazy. =((
So boo, bye bye shopping.
The earliest bus we could find was at 1pm. We reached Sydney at 4pm. So yes, by the time we checked into the hotel, all that was left was an hour of shopping.
No more homebush DFO. No more cheap bargains and stocktake sales.
It's like we wasted our hotel booking as we accomplish nothing in Sydney, except for a pair of great looking skinnies that Lawrence bought.
Woah, that's the end of my super duper exciting Sydney trip.
Luckily we didn't overslept for our flight back.
This time round, we were smart enough to set 2 alarm clocks.
One was his handphone and the other was the hotel's alarm clock.
And woosh off we were back to the sunny island Singapore!
I bought a Paris Bijoux bracelet on the planeee! nice nice nice! I like!

There's 5 of these Swarovskis on the bracelet. The colours look so happy together. haha!

Tracy came to Singapore for 2 days!
So of course we have to bring her around to show her the best of Singapore.
We brought her to the far east chicken rice which is a bad bad choice. =(
I suggested it, so I felt kinda bad.
The chicken rice doesn't taste like chicken rice at all and it's so expensive for a plate of yucky chicken rice.

Don't go there for chicken rice. It sucks. Me and tracy.

With the charm of Chiayuen and Tracy they managed to convince to guy to give Tracy a 10% discount with the purchase of just 1 bag!
I was so surprised!

I still prefer koko black though. The smooth thick ice chocolate with 2 scoops of ice cream to go along. The richness of the chocolate together with the sweet tasting ice cream. Yum.. Heavenly.

Went civic today. Wanted to go brand depot but didn't have enough time, so yep.

Oh oh! I wore my tube as a skirt. wahahaha! And it turn out pretty well lah!!

see see. The blue strip top-skirt was actually my tube which only cost me like 5 bucks? Yeah! =]

So yeah! Shopping partner. =] I wanna do the iori (the best japanese restaurant in Canberra, super yummy. The sashimi are so so fresh and sweet and juicy and comes in fat big slices. Imagine the salmon slices smiling up at you. The array of pink and orange. Superb.), brand depot (kinda like direct factory outlets), civic late night shopping (which happens only on friday where shops open till 9pm. Cuz AUSSIE are so lazy. the shops close at 5.30pm on weekdays and 4.30 on weekends) and koko black (best hot and ice chocolate! they melt the chocolate to make the hot and ice chocolate unlike those cheapo cafes that uses mass produced powder. They use their own chocolates and grind it to make the chocolate drinks. heavenly i tell you. Every single mouth you take its oh-my-god all the way. It's no joke.)

That's like our ideal Canberra day.

Oops! What a long hiatus! It's all due to the damn exams lah.
okie okie, I admit, it's my laziness too. About 50%.
As the title suggest, it's a truckload of events. So, here we go!

WE HAD THE FUNNEST, MOST FANTASTIC INTERNATIONAL DINNER EVER!
It was such a success.
The theme was hollywood vs bollywood. Everyone put in so much effort in dressing up.
We had freddy krueger, hellboy, edna mode, the hulk, tinkerbell, hitman, ryu, bring it on cheerleaders, john nash, oscar awards, pirates, brokeback mountain.
I went as tomb raider! lol!
The reason being it's the easiest to do! All you need is shorts and tank top plus a toy gun.
Kinda glad it turn out pretty well! yeah! =)

Next up was the pool competition! Both lawrence and me represented Ursies to vie for the annual pool competition award.
He played for the men doubles while I played the girls doubles.

And you know what?
WE WON!!
We are the champions! haha! We felt that Ursies pool standard are much better than the rest of the halls! And well, it's nice to win something!

Us! the pool no. 1!!! yeah! =)

Because we won the championship, there's this high table dinner for us! Yippie!

But the high table was a lil sad because there were only the six of us!
So it looks a tad empty. boo. But still, it was nice to be served by the SRs and cheered by the rest of the hall mates as we entered.

Then we had TRACYDAY!!
Lawrence and me we asked all that know tracy to write on a piece of paper for her as she is leaving.Then we compiled it into a book and gave it to her.
But it wasn't any ordinary book.
We made it such that it was a winter catalogue design by her (edna mode) for ralph lauren.
It was Lawrence that came up with the polo ralph lauren idea. Cool!

As my birthday falls on the exam dates, they decided to have it a week earlier so that everyone can make it!

Lawrence fooled me by saying lets go play pool! And they were all hiding in the dark in the games room. When he switched on the lights it was "SURPRISE!!"
and yes, surprise it was.
It was heartwarming as they remembered and cared enough to try make me happy.
It wasn't a elaborated surprise, in fact, it was a simple one.
But still, one can see the efforts that both of them put in.
The calling of everyone, the rushing here and there to get the stuff, buying my present.

5 cameras, 6 days and 7 sizzling hotness!

Gold coast trip ended on a rainy note, but that didn't spoil much of the plan and fun and excitement and nothing (including the rain) dampens the tip top mood everyone was in.

The trip was great! =]

A trip abroad, well although I'm still in Aussie, it's still feels abroad to me going Gold Coast, always makes one mood delighted.

A short escape from the hectic work, the early mornings, the stress. It definitely made me feel much better.

We took a flight to Brisbane and from there we took a bus down to Surfers Paradise.
Oh Oh! Before I forget I should introduce the people that went with me!
Lawrence, David, Leon, Han, Yau ting, Hui min.
It was fun fun fun travelling with them! Our apartment was damn goot with a sweeping million dollar view.
The sea was like just in front of us. Waking up to see the sea in front of you is definitely an experience. And is one that I LIKE!

DAY 1

We had our lunch at the not so special place. Food sucks actually. I ordered ribs.
The stuff that came was more like fats with bones.

DAY 4!
I went seaworld with Lawrence while the rest went wet and wild.
Contrary to the popular belief, seaworld was actually quite fun.

They had this new theme - Sesame Street beach. and there were all the sesame street characters.

How can we forget the dolphins? One of the main attraction for seaworld.

I went home with seasea. haha! I know its a sissy name. But the sealion i shappy that he is called seasea.

DAY 5!
Surfinggggggg! How is surfers paradise complete without surfing? And harbourtown factory outlets store!

Thought I should show this!! Lawrence managed to stand on the surfboard.
That's quite a feat for a first-timer.

DAY 6! The last day. Booooooo! =(

We just walked around the city and explore. A relaxing day.

The raining day kinda spoils the plan. Last day wasnt as fun but it was still fun nonetheless because of these lovely bunch of people!
And that's the name of the apartment that we stayed!

I think I have the cutest papa and mama in the world.

My papa reads my blog and follows it. haha!
He lets me shake my butt in front of the tv when he is watching it.
He is a hard-mouthed but soft-hearted guy.
He likes to say jokes and force my mama to laugh.

My mama is very pretty. =)
My mama likes to doll up and she is super caring and sweet.
She cooks the best stuff in the world, well, that's to me.
She and me always go shopping together.

They pamper me alot.

But they also nag nag nag. Although not very nice to the ears, but I know it's for my goot. Haha!

I do appreciate everything that they do for me. I'm not very well-to-do, so they have to save and sacrifice certain things so that I can be where I am today. They always try to give me everything that I want without complaints or questions or unhappiness. I appreciate every little thing that they have done, to me and the family.

I totally forgot about blogging Commencement Dinner this year. It's the usual same thing where you sit in the dining hall for a notch better food than usual that doesn't really measure anywhere near the good standard. Food was average. It was not spectacular, it wasn't really fun. It was just average I guess. But being such a cam-whore, I took lots of pictures. haha! Which is again, usual.

I think the pictures are quite boring with repetitive me! But well, I'll just post them. haha!

I've been back in Aussie for like a month already and there are as usual so many pictures to post! haha!

I'm a tad lazy to write, so I'll just let the pictures do the story telling instead.

The departure at the airport with my family. On a side note, I was freaking pissed that day. The airbus got delayed from 8.30pm, to 10.30pm. And from 10.30, it delayed till 11.30. And then it changed to 1.30am again! At 1.30am, the crew told us the airbus was still faulty due to some fuel pump and we CANNOT SIT THE AIRBUS! The flight that we could take was the jumbo flight and it'll only fly at 3.30am. Gosh. It was 5.30am when I flew. I am so pissed over the whole issue. All they did was to give us some dinner voucher which I didn't even fully utilised? They should give us some compensation! ANGRIEEEEEE! I was ready to kill the crew that day.

Lucky I managed to get hold of Lawrence, if not he would have waited a freaking 8hrs in the Sydney airport alone! Gosh.
He came to pick me up from Sydney. Thank you once again. And I finally went to harbour bridge and opera house. It took me like 1 year to crawl there. haha! I love the blue sky, the breeze and the smell of the sea. It all seems so serene and pretty.

And yes, this is the opera house.

Look at how strong the wind is! Haha! and shades is always a good method to hide the no makeup pale face.

It looks really wonderful but the taste was hmmm.. well, we'll try harder next time. And my room stink of garlic for the next few days. haha!

I know I look kinda like a hospital patient. But that's the best could do! And if you are wondering, everyone in the picture is as YOUNG or younger than me. So they really did a fantastic job at being old!

I thought it'll be fun to dress me up in guys clothes. So, I took Lawrence clothes back and tada! I think I look very butch but with a good dress sense. Well, that just means Lawrence you got goot dress sense leh! haha!

Can you imagine me fitting into his clothes? Damn, I should stop eating so much chips. Stop feeding me okieeeeee?

We had the last sky fire!! =((
Remember the previous year where there was this event with 20 hard cool solid minutes of fireworks? This is the last year. SUPER SADNESS! IT'S ONE OF MY FAVOURITE EVENT IN CANBERRA!
Oh, we went brand depot before going skyfire. Sadly, there's nothing to buy there. Anymore.

Had a farewell dinner for me! haha! I'm really happy that I met my dearie much more often this holiday that I went back! We sure had our fun! And try as I might, I know there will never be another one like my dearie. haha.
Mitchie, yannie, jannie, hk, jx, cq and me had our dinner at tapaz in clarke quay and indochine after that. After much delaying we finally settled on our dinner place and we had it at like 10pm? But I was really happy that you guys can make it!

This came very late I know, but at least late than never, so here goes: HAPPPYYY NEEWW YEARRR!

Went to Marina Promenade for the annually event with my family! Reunion dinner was great, with lotsa goot food! And of course, not forgetting the angbaos! haha! Had a family photo taken before we left for my granny's house!

I know i know, there is this huge gigantic pimple on my right temple near the brow. =( ITS REALLY SAD OKIE? so stop laughing at my pimple!

We had steamboat lunch at granny's house and there's the chit-chat session. It was on a rather depressing topic and I feel that new year shouldn't be shadowed by such details so I'll just shhh about it. But well, everything can be solve right? And there's no need to bring hurt and sadness to your family by a moment of impulsiveness. There are alot of things that I don't understand but what I know is one should never be irresponsible and cowardly. As the adidas slogan goes, impossible is nothing. And nothing is impossible.

Back to a happier note, I took pictures with my granny. She is in her eighties but she is super duper fit okie? Amazing strength and character I must say, and I really look up to her. She had 7 daughters and my grandad died when the daughters were still really young. My granny had to take up 2 jobs to support the family.

It's been so long since I last blog. Have lost track of all the events that I've done. Haha! But what I remembered was being pretty busy since I came back to the sunny island. Went on a family trip! 8 days of fun and smiles with the one that i care and love! Food and more food with sceneric places and shopping paradise and terrific company! What more can you ask for?
Meet up with my dearies too! It was a blast! =) hotties! And I heart them. Had dinner at "pine court", mandarin hotel. Nice cosy place! As usual, due to the procrastination, I have tons of pictures but am too lazy to put them all up!
And the main reason I'm able to enjoy myself so much this holiday is partly because I clear the required modules too. Thank you to Yi for being my study partner! haha! Let's study harder next semester! And I know you are happy about your results too!

This holidays have been through some of the lowest point in my life. Well, I believe that things do happen for a reason, reagardless of whether you believe or not. I do hope that I can make things better but that's impossible unless I'm the undiscovered hero in Heroes. haha! This entry have dragged on for a month now and I have forgotten what I have wanted to say. But one thing that did struck me was to have faith. Have faith in the things that you hold close to your heart, have faith in what you believe, have faith that things will change for the better, have faith that wounds will heal as time passes and most importantly, have faith that neither you nor me will change.

Yep. It's exams time. The thing that everyone dreads and yet has no choice but to face it. I'm studying in the common room using the wireless and slacking for a wee bit. Well, wee bit includes surfing the net for nearly 3 hours already. Gosh, I should get back to work. 1 paper down, 3 more to go. Actuarial is a shit course. =( The subjects are so uber tough- just imagine all you do is calculate the probability of a person dying and the claims that they receive, or a person falling sick and the illness benefit he receive. And all the calculation involve STATS! Kologromov equation, integration, transition intensities, Markov multi state model are my new best friends. Still, can't wait for 2 weeks to come then I can go back Singapore to meet my special oneee! (haha! You know who you are!)

Valete dinner was pretty sweet. Food that was edible and the best dessert the hall could ever churn up with. Got tons of pictures, but I'm lazy to upload them all. haha!

I know this sounds so silly but yeah! I was so happy because I got to wear my new dress! *Thanks thanks for the surprise!* I know I am putting on weight! =( Look at my cheeks. Its screaming out fat! Plus plus I am a ball now with my face being a circle.
Anyhow, Spartos is this dinner to commemorate those who have taken part and also bring glory to the hall in the sports events organised. Everyone was pretty dressed up for the event. And our table had a table theme-Black or White. So, everyone was supposed to come in either black or white. We are going to have another different theme next week!!

Canberra had its annual Floriade- which is this mega huge event where they plant thousands of flowers, mainly tulips, at this particular place. The moment you reached there, you feel as if you are at a flower plantation of something. This is one of the main attraction of Canberra. Haha! Its only during floriade that people wanna come to this boring city. The flowers there are so brightly coloured and it makes everything look so picture perfect.

Just look at the different types of flowers that I took. Its simply beautiful.

Spring is here, which means the bitter coldness that we endured for 3 months is over! It's a rather pretty sight now with the trees covered with newly blossom flowers and the ducks which bring their lil ducklings out for a walk. I had the fun of chasing those cute ducklings around! haha!

Those ducklings were so scared and had to cross the road to escape the evil monster chasing them.

Melbourne Trip

Melbourne trip was pretty fun. Great food, great sight but shopping wasn't as goot as the previous timeee. =( I still think Thailand is better! Thailand rock! Sawadeekaa! Went to this Greek restaurant, which i felt was not bad. The decor was nice and the food taste great too.

The night view in Melbourne is fantastic, with tall city lights and brightly coloured Ferris wheel and the cosy river bank where you can sit and just admire the view.

There were graffiti on the ground painted! Its cute!

I am so overdue again, when the ball frenzy is over then I start blogging about it. Haha! I think I am like a week late. But heck, what's important is I'm gonna show everyone the nice nice pictures! The girls started preparing at 2pm when the transport provided to fetch us to the ball leaves at 6.30pm. And we are still late for it! Girlssss! Makeup, hair, dress, accessories, shoes. There is just too much work to be done for a simple ball. But well, the goot news is that everyone looks goot on that night! =)
I wore my dearie's dress! But i guess its a tad too small for me! Dearie!!!! You super skinny can? Go eat more! haha!

The location of the ball is at thoroughbread park. Paying 60 bucks for the tickets, I expected the place to be a bigger magnitude but I guess it falls short a little by expectation. Food was alright but the main was beef, and since I don't eat beef, I had to swap for the vegetarian. Transport was provided. And in case you think some fancy carriage is gonna fetch us there, well, you're in for some disappointment!

I never knew that maintaining a blog takes so much commitment and effort. Lol! It takes so long for a single picture to load. And not forgetting the time taken to make the pictures look nicer. Although I don't know how to do photo shop (I know, I know. I suck at computers), but the time taken just to adjust the lighting and making a simple collage and contrasting is already soooooo long. Either I am really not gifted in that aspect or I'm pure lazy. So, sorry for the lack of updates! I do have alot of pictures but i kept procrastinating. =( But I'll try I'll really try to blog faithfully as from today onwards.

The 2 weeks back in Singapore was goot! Met up with mitchie and yannie and the rest! Sorry I didn't meet all of you guys.. Especially when I can make it for Bloo's and Gina's birthday celebration! I was sick for one week!! Urgh! Talk about a wasted trip. So effectively I had like a week to meet everyoneeee!! But I'll be back in November for 3 months! And this time round, I'll make sure I meet every single one of my sweetie piesss!

I heart going out with my babes! And OhOh! This was before my haircut and dyeee.

This one is after my haircut! And I dye them too. I was a lil pissed because the hairdresser cut it too short. I wanted to trim off my dead ends and like cut away 1 inch or so, but she happily crop away 3 to 4 inches of my hair. Now I have to grow them back again.

I love my birthday celebration! It was sweet and niceeeeee!! Didn't expect it'll be so mind blowing. And although there were some cock ups but still I'm glad we enjoy ourselves that day! =) Plus I really like my present!

I also had a night safari trip with my parents. =) It was our family dayyyyy!! Although I was really sick that time but still everything was smooth and nice. And I'm sure all of us had a fun fun fun time sitting on the tram and enjoying the breeze at night. I miss my papa and mama and jojo!

Set out and had a really long walk to the lake where the fireworks was meant to be displayed. It was like an half hour walk. The estimated distance that we combed was maybe around 5km? Just to get to the place to watch the fireworks. But the fireworks were spectacular. 15 minutes of pure indulgence in bright sparks and lovely colours. Made the walk worthwhile.

Had dinner with yi and his brother. Dress up dress up! Cause he said the brother gonna take us to some expensive restaurant. Lol! but i forgot to take pictures of the food. All I remembered was me camwhoring all the way. Wahaha! But I had this chicken with avocado which was damn nice lah. Creamy and smooth. I heart! Although the place was reputed for its steak, I felt that I didn't make the wrong choice. The chicken was heavenly. Cooked to the correct texture and the juice could all ooze out. Yummy! I wanna go there again!

There's such a big difference with makeup and without makeup for me. Totally fugly without it lah. Sometimes I just wished I could look pretty even without makeup. Its so tiring sometimes to dress up although I do like it. I'm just vain but lazy. Lol!

Melbourne trip

Went with min and yi to Melbourne. Hanyi and brandy were supposed to come with us but due to last minute complications they had to join the school tour which was going on a later date. So we 3 venture out to Melbourne by ourselves. Woke up at 4 am in the morning to prepare for the 6.50 am flight to Melbourne. Melbourne was pretty fun except that we booked the backpackers too late resulting in us having to stay at Spencer hotel which was pretty distant from the city central. We wanted Taylors on A'beckett initially as it was goot and cheap. However, by the time we called them which was on a thursday and we are leaving on the Sunday, they were fully booked. Had to search for a new roof over our head! Although Spencer was a little rundown but it was much better than some of the hostel that our Ursies stayed in. Plus the people there were really friendly and nice. So yep! That's a plus point! From Spencer hotel we had to walk like 20 mins to get to the city central where all the shopping is. Min, Yi and yours truly are all pretty bad map readers which made us walking around in circles quite a few times. Lol. We got lost in the city too cause we didn't know which way to go.

We went Victoria market on the first day which is the most famous fresh food market in Melbourne. It sells tons of stuff from clothing to shoes to plants to pizzas to pasta to sweets to accessories to you get the idea.

Dinner was at SHARK FIN Inn which is a pretty good restaurant. Yummy food! Its located in Chinatown. Yep! There's one chinatown in Melbourne. Sells lots of goot Chinese and Japanese food!

Although its just a small stretch of road, you feel surprisingly at home because you see tons of Chinese restaurants along the road.

We had pork ribs, pigeon, hot and sour soup, prawn dumpling soup, special fried rice and sweet and sour fish. Hungrieeee.

Commencement Dinner

Tons of picturessss! Wahaha! Yesterday was the commencement dinner where you have to dress up for the event. Wore my dress that I bought in Bangkok! Oh man! I miss bangkok!! I wanna shopshop! I wanna live like a queen there again. haha! My zebra dress rocks! I like I like! Plus plus I helped Weimin put on her makeup! Call me the expert man. Seriously, I single-handedly trim her eyebrows and apply eyeshadow, eye liner, mascara, shimmer and blusher for her! And she said no one managed to put so much mascara for her as me, cause her eye lashes were really short. So all the professional makeup artist said she can't put mascara! The pre-dinner ceremony started around 7 where they serve champagne and juices but I went down too late. So no champagne for me. Boo... But never mind! The tons of pictures more than make up for it! =)

Our table had sitting arrangement lined up for us, so we can't sit where we want to sit. But surprise of surprise! I was sitting with Lawrence!! Plus Daryl and Hanyi. Such cool coincidence! We had some small little fun all by ourselves yeh! Laughing and kidding around like kids.
