The end of the Seven deadly Sins.

Orientation week has officially ended. I'm back at school with tons of stuff piling up. And seriously, why do schools have lectures thrice a week and each lasting an hour? Its making me so tired of going school for a hour lecture.

Gonna blog the events that happened the past few days.Well, to be honest, I lost track of events that I was doing. I didn’t really take note of the date that the events were held. So some events were jumbled up. Haha! But here are the stuff that I did for the past few days.

We had an afternoon BBQ in some park after the Scavenger hunt. We had to take pictures with a tons of stuff around civic. Civic is like Orchard Road in Singapore. They had some pretty awesome chicken kebab, but it was a little too fatty for me. They had pork sausages too. Sausages by right should be my favourite, but the pork sausage taste really weird. Pork in Australia doesn’t taste good. They have this really strong smell. It taste ewww..

In the evening was the annual coffee crawl. Coffee crawl means we coffee-hop to some of the coffee joints in town. The first stop was Starbucks in Civic. The manager was very nice to serve each of us coffee, slowing teaching us how to appreciate each of the different types of coffee beans. Sadly, the coffee was too bitter for me.. I didn’t really like it. But I know my bibi will like it though. Cause he’s my coffee junkie. =) Starbucks was really nice to give each of us a goodie bag which includes a membership card and a packet of coffee beans. Coolness!

We head over to The Pancake Parlor next. The décor there was very old school. Although price here is steep compared to Singapore, the price is pretty alright here. I ordered a 2 pieces of pancake with ice-cream for Aud12. But the pancake was super duper nice. FANTASTIC! I likeeeeeee!!!!

At night was Mooseheads again. Went with the Korean sweeties. Everyone was drunk there. They were puking everywhere and drinks were splashing all over. I was like 1 of the few that wasn’t drunk. Milan, an exchange student from Canada, didn’t drink anything too. So he was really sober. He was really nice to act as a barricade for me from drunkards. Thanks!

Chinese New Year pictures up!! This is the university house Minmin’s family are staying. Its damn big lah! It has a kitchen, 2 bedroom, 1 dining room, 1 living room and balcony all to themselves. But its pretty expensive to stay here. It’s $140Aud per night for the university house.

Heaven and hell. Saints and sinners.

Wah! Alot of pictures! haha! Ursula had this hell and heaven event where you have to dress up as saints or sinners. Didn't wanna go spend money on costumes so i went as blackie fallen fairy again. Haha! I know its boring but I have nothing to wear! After the costume party, we are to head over to MOOSEHEADS- a club in Canberra. I think the clubs here are not very good. But drinks are quite cheap here though.

The night started with us hurrying to weimin's room to prepare ourselves for the party. Tried to make halo for ourselves but it wasn't very nice.. So we change it to something else.. haha! A flower band around the head using aluminium foil! Wahaha!

Ada! She's my neighbour.

Parents are from hongkong but she's raised up in Aust.
She's such a pretty little thing. And she is only 18 this year. In fact most of the domestic students are 18 this year. I'm like the few people who are really old. Oh man! I feel so old. =(


Another 2 Korean girls living on the same block as me.

They're here for 2 semesters for exchange. If I go Korean they said I could stay with them and they would also show me around! haha! yeah! Free tour guide!

Don! My NUS senior who is doing the same programme as me. His wig is damn funny lah. I thought he really look like Phua Chu Kang. Haha! See the fork he's holding? We made it for him neh! lol! such talented people we are. Haha!

Chern is our international facilitator who tries to make us feel at home in Ursula. He's doing a really good job. He went to dress up as a STATS devil. haha! He got an exam on the next day and he went for the party.



Guys that went as angels. I don't think Singaporeans will be as daring as them to wear like this because I think it actually looks gay and if you dont pull it off you'll look like some idiot.

She's my neighbour!! Jess is so pretty! haha! Her room is super big lah. Its like thrice the size of mine..In fact all senior residence, they are people who take care of each floor in each block, have that room. I want my room to be so big too!!!



Dale and Gerrard.

Dale's the senior residence of my floor. He's quiet but really reliable. He went as this pirate! haha! I don't see how it fits the theme but well, guess no one really does stick to it either. Gerrard is from Malaysia and he is crazy when he dance. he is completely in a world of his own with moves that will injure people! haha! but he's nice lah.



I went mooseheads after that with the gang to see how its like. The music is bad and the drink is diluted although its at 2 bucks per glass. Guess beer is the better choice if you wanna drink here. But I don't drink beer so yep. Stick to whisky. The music there was alright only. But entrance is like free. Cuz twice I go no entry fees was needed. Haha!That pretty much sums up the hell and heaven night.

We had this bush dance thingy the next day. Didn't wanna take pictures because I didnt have any makeup on. But I saw this really cute little boy. He's 8 years old and called Callum. His dad was the performing troupe so he was playing alone. So i went over to talk to him. Lawrence, my Singapore friend!, asked the little boy if he had a girlfriend. And CAllum said yes! lol! 2 somemore! So he asked if I could be Callum's girlfriend too and he said yes! lol! Little Callum gave me a kiss and hugs some more. And he went to count the number of years before he will reach university. Such a sweetie!

Isn't he such a cute little boy? I think he'll be very good looking when he grow up. Lol! And he asked me to wait for him to grow up. But the sweetest thing was when I was gonna leave he said "Don't you wanna write my name on the picture we took so you can remember me?" So cuteeeeeeeeeee!!!! And he gave me a kiss on the cheeks before I go! haha! When I was 8 I dont even think I know what a girlfriend is! And he has 3-if you include me lah! Lol!

Its new year eve now! Just had dinner at minmin's parents place. Pictures are not with me but there's not alot of pictures too. Minmin parents was very nice to invite all of us to go over and cook for us! Thanks auntie and uncle! The food was great! I miss home cooked food! I miss my mum's cooking and I miss Singapore food!

I'm getting sick of the western meals and potatoes and the irritating kitchen auntie. Urgh! But its chinese new year tomorrow! So I shall be in a good mood!
