The year of the Rat
This came very late I know, but at least late than never, so here goes: HAPPPYYY NEEWW YEARRR!
Huat Ar!! 4D, Toto, Mahjong all strike and win ah! =)
Repeat after me! Huat ah!
Went to Marina Promenade for the annually event with my family! Reunion dinner was great, with lotsa goot food! And of course, not forgetting the angbaos! haha! Had a family photo taken before we left for my granny's house!
Took pictures with my jojo! He only likes to take pictures when he is eating food. haha!
I know i know, there is this huge gigantic pimple on my right temple near the brow. =( ITS REALLY SAD OKIE? so stop laughing at my pimple!
We had steamboat lunch at granny's house and there's the chit-chat session. It was on a rather depressing topic and I feel that new year shouldn't be shadowed by such details so I'll just shhh about it. But well, everything can be solve right? And there's no need to bring hurt and sadness to your family by a moment of impulsiveness. There are alot of things that I don't understand but what I know is one should never be irresponsible and cowardly. As the adidas slogan goes, impossible is nothing. And nothing is impossible.
Back to a happier note, I took pictures with my granny. She is in her eighties but she is super duper fit okie? Amazing strength and character I must say, and I really look up to her. She had 7 daughters and my grandad died when the daughters were still really young. My granny had to take up 2 jobs to support the family.

The girl my dad is carrying is my auntie's daughter. Look at how young my brother is. And now, he's so tall. I'm the girl in red!! hahaha! My brother and I are so dressed for the New year!
After lunch was Marina Promenade! They had this chou tofu stall!
My bro like the chou tofu!! It stinks like hell, but when you eat it, it's actually quite nice though. haha!

And even had the chance to take with the cai shen ye! God of Fortune! haha! Hao yun lai lai lai!

I hope this year is gonna be a fat huge goot goot one for everyone! Wishing everyone health, prosperity and happiness in this new year!
My steamboat is calling out for me. I'm not surprise if I roll back to aussie. I'm getting so fat on the new year goodies, drinks, and steamboat. Practically every meal have been steamboat for me. haha! But well, Chinese new year is a time to forget about weight and eat!! The worrying can come later! So tata! =)

my talented friends
I'm typing my entry on my manicured, fake finger nails that feels so detach from my body. And it's so difficult to type can? I can't feel my fingers because the fake hardy nails are blocking them from touching my keyboard.
I can't stop laughing whenever I look at these pictures.

I know the above post is super unglamorous and ugly but well, I have fun taking them and I'm really glad that I have my lovelies to take these super pretty pictures with me. It was a really really fun night with a terrific company and we have to meet up more often sweeties! I love you!!
