Went civic today. Wanted to go brand depot but didn't have enough time, so yep.

Oh oh! I wore my tube as a skirt. wahahaha! And it turn out pretty well lah!!

see see. The blue strip top-skirt was actually my tube which only cost me like 5 bucks? Yeah! =]

On the bus to civic, caught some scenary on the bus.

And I'm so happy! I bought a bling bling vest.

It was on offer, so I snap snap snap. Haha!

I hope it's not super passe to wear a vest. But well, I don't care!

I like my bling bling vest. Gonna wear it to the airport on sunday. haha!

Gonna hop onto the bus to syndey at 7.30am which is singapore 5.30am tomorrow, and I have yet to clean my room, pack my stuff, do my laundry, vaccum my floor, shift my table back from lawrence room to mine.

And yet, I'm blogging. hahaha!

Anyhow, I think I better start then.

The beach in surfers were fantastic. The babe watching and hunks with their surfboard. Woot!

The sea was pretty clear and the sand are all so so fine.

Unlike the coarse sands you see in east coast in Singapore.

I miss the blue blue sky, the warm warm sea and sand in queensland.

Temperature in Canberra now is a freaking 1 degree.

My mum was just telling me how I am so going to melt when I go back Singapore.

Haha! But still, despite that, I'm looking very forward to going back.

Anyway, I'm going last minute shopping cuz Lawrence is done with his last paper today!

So yeah! Shopping partner. =] I wanna do the iori (the best japanese restaurant in Canberra, super yummy. The sashimi are so so fresh and sweet and juicy and comes in fat big slices. Imagine the salmon slices smiling up at you. The array of pink and orange. Superb.), brand depot (kinda like direct factory outlets), civic late night shopping (which happens only on friday where shops open till 9pm. Cuz AUSSIE are so lazy. the shops close at 5.30pm on weekdays and 4.30 on weekends) and koko black (best hot and ice chocolate! they melt the chocolate to make the hot and ice chocolate unlike those cheapo cafes that uses mass produced powder. They use their own chocolates and grind it to make the chocolate drinks. heavenly i tell you. Every single mouth you take its oh-my-god all the way. It's no joke.)

That's like our ideal Canberra day.

Good food, great shopping and great desserts to end off.

From hollywood meets bollywood to pool competition champions to farewells to birthdays! Whew, what a truckload of events.

Oops! What a long hiatus! It's all due to the damn exams lah.
okie okie, I admit, it's my laziness too. About 50%.
As the title suggest, it's a truckload of events. So, here we go!

WE HAD THE FUNNEST, MOST FANTASTIC INTERNATIONAL DINNER EVER!
It was such a success.
The theme was hollywood vs bollywood. Everyone put in so much effort in dressing up.
We had freddy krueger, hellboy, edna mode, the hulk, tinkerbell, hitman, ryu, bring it on cheerleaders, john nash, oscar awards, pirates, brokeback mountain.
I went as tomb raider! lol!
The reason being it's the easiest to do! All you need is shorts and tank top plus a toy gun.
Kinda glad it turn out pretty well! yeah! =)

It was rather the hype and all the dressing up and photo frenzy taking session.

Well there's like a whole lot more pictures but the uploading time is taking ages! So there's the selected few. haha!

Next up was the pool competition! Both lawrence and me represented Ursies to vie for the annual pool competition award.
He played for the men doubles while I played the girls doubles.






And you know what?
WE WON!!
We are the champions! haha! We felt that Ursies pool standard are much better than the rest of the halls! And well, it's nice to win something!

Because we won the championship, there's this high table dinner for us! Yippie!

But the high table was a lil sad because there were only the six of us!
So it looks a tad empty. boo. But still, it was nice to be served by the SRs and cheered by the rest of the hall mates as we entered.

Then we had TRACYDAY!!
Lawrence and me we asked all that know tracy to write on a piece of paper for her as she is leaving.Then we compiled it into a book and gave it to her.
But it wasn't any ordinary book.
We made it such that it was a winter catalogue design by her (edna mode) for ralph lauren.
It was Lawrence that came up with the polo ralph lauren idea. Cool!

Lawrence and huanghuang were so sweet! They planned my surprise birthday party.
As my birthday falls on the exam dates, they decided to have it a week earlier so that everyone can make it!
Lawrence bought back all the food and drinks alone by himself and tracy made the delicious muffins for me! Wee!! happy!
Lawrence fooled me by saying lets go play pool! And they were all hiding in the dark in the games room. When he switched on the lights it was "SURPRISE!!"
and yes, surprise it was.
It was heartwarming as they remembered and cared enough to try make me happy.
It wasn't a elaborated surprise, in fact, it was a simple one.
But still, one can see the efforts that both of them put in.
The calling of everyone, the rushing here and there to get the stuff, buying my present.

We went to happys for Tracy's farewell dinner. It was after my CTF exam.

Sadness. It went so bad. In fact all my papers this semester were so so bad can?
